Miguel Henriques is driven by one passion: bringing stories to life through powerful images. For him, light is magic — the energy that fuels his creativity and allows him to craft unforgettable visual worlds while traveling to some of the most inspiring places on Earth.
With over 20 years of experience in television and cinema, Miguel has collaborated with major Canadian broadcasters such as Radio-Canada, CBC, TVA and multiple specialty channels. His journey then led him to the Cirque du Soleil, where he captured the wonder of shows and documentaries around the globe.
A visionary storyteller, Miguel stands out for his creativity, precision, and adaptability in every environment. His career as a Director of Photography includes acclaimed films like WOLFE (2018) and ANNA KIRI (2025), as well as collaborations on numerous American and Canadian productions.
Since 2016, Miguel has been a Specialized Camera Operator and proud partner of RAPID FILMWORKS, mastering Steadicam, Trinity, gyro-stabilized cameras, and U-Crane systems — consistently pushing cinematic boundaries and capturing the limitless.
